Blending Singapore and Russian math
Logicus combines Singapore math's clarity, visual modeling, and conceptual sequencing with Russian math's rigor, abstraction, and analytical depth.

Students are challenged to think, explain, and reason in a 6-8 student small-group classes.
We aim to build confidence, analytical fluency, and problem-solving that carries into every field and life beyond the classroom.

As a seasoned mathematics educator and administrator, I bring a long track record in fostering mathematical excellence and student success as a math teacher and as the Principal of the Russian School of Mathematics.
Most importantly, being a mother of four has served as my most invaluable experience as a math educator. I took a direct approach to my children's math education from an early age, individually teaching them using Russian math textbooks and workbooks. I made a point to emphasize abstract mathematical concepts, logic, and reasoning, providing them with more rigor, depth, and complexity than what their regular school curriculum offered. I've seen first-hand how this approach helped my children blossom into creative and inspired thinkers.
Now, as they pursue their educations at Stanford University, Yale University, the University of Chicago, and the Cornell School of Engineering in a diverse array of fields, the logical skills they honed through their math education with me remain integral to their scholarly success. As the driving force behind Logicus, my commitment goes beyond just teaching mathematics; I am dedicated to making a lasting impact on my students' lives and nurturing their success in mathematics and beyond, just as I did with my own children.
